چکیده

The defection of single data source can be solved with fusion between TM and SAR images. It provides a better solution for land surface monitoring in the mining areas. Results of experiment showed that the fusion images can be integrated the advantages of each one, enhanced the recognition ability of features, improved land use/land cover classification accuracy. Further discussed the method of microwave remote sensing for ecological environment monitoring in mining areas, it is pointed out that the SAR images can be quantitative analysis of hydrogeological environment, the growth of crops and vegetation, land cover and soil resources, the INSAR images can be extracted collapse and change information. Research shows that the use of multi-source and multi-temporal images, fusion technology of TM and SAR images, could be favorable of dynamic monitoring for the ecological environment in mining areas, and provided basic data for exploitation of mining resources. *Corresponding author.

Mine Subsidence Monitoring by JERS-1 SAR Interferometry

Differential SAR Interferometry (D-InSAR) is an effective tool in monitoring land subsidence because of its greater coverage area and better resolution of height change. A series of Japanese Earth Resources Satallite-1 (JERS-1) images from 1992 to 1998 has been used in monitoring the mine subsidence in the test site of this study, one of the important coal mining areas in China. D-InSAR procedu...

Three years of mining subsidence monitored by SAR interferometry, near Gardanne, France

Differential interferogram images derived from repeat-pass spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems give the possibility to map surface deformations of small spatial extent and to monitor their spatiotemporal evolution. A slow and local phenomenon of subsidence caused by underground coal mining has been observed near Gardanne, France, from images acquired by both European ERS-1/2 satel...

Application of Satellite Radar Interferometry on the Areas of Underground Exploitation of Copper Ore in Lgom - Poland

Satellite Radar Interferometry is a unique method that gives us a possibility to take measurements of a land subsidence on strictly determined huge areas and with precision state the time range. This method uses the phase signal difference between two SAR satellite images (Synthetic Aperture Radar). Until this time this method was successfully tested on underground coal mining areas in the Uppe...

Interferometric Monitoring of an Active Underground Mining Field with High-resolution Sar Sensors

Underground mining activities lead to ground movements at the earth surface. An area-wide monitoring and the documentation of mining induced influences are required by the mining authorities. Work done in the past confirmed a significant potential of SAR interferometric methods to contribute information to such monitoring. Nevertheless, in spite of advanced SAR interferometric processing techni...
